Description A British airborne infantry division during the WW2. It was formed in late 1941 initially under command of Major-General Frederick A. M. Browning. After its first two raids, Operation Biting in France and Operation Freshman in Norway; it fought in the Tunisian and Sicily Campaigns, in Operation Slapstick, as part of the Allied invasion of Italy and in Operation Market Garden.
