Name Jacob, Harold Alaric
Description An English writer and journalist who was Reuters correspondent in Washington in the 1930s, and a war correspondent during WW2 in North Africa, Burma and Moscow. In May 1941 he set out as a war correspondent for the Daily Express. He sailed to Cairo and the next two years he spent with the 8th Army in North Africa, initially covering the Siege of Tobruk and Operation Crusader.
