Name Schiller, Clarence Alvin 'Duke'
Description A pioneer bush pilot who enlisted in the Royal Flying Corps in 1917 and became a flight instructor. Competing in the New York to Toronto Air Race in 1919, he was an original 1924 member of the Ontario Provincial Air Service. He served in the RAF Ferry Command as an instructor and pilot during WW2, but died making a night landing at Bermuda in 1943.
